Dr. Jee-Eun Kim is a Pediatric Dentist who specializes in treating children from infancy through their teenage years. She is known for her conservative, individualized dental care for her patients based on each child’s needs and risk assessment. She prides in building strong relationships with her patients and their families who entrust her with their oral health. She also strives to provide the best care possible by staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry.
My Story
Dr. Jee-Eun Kim attended West Virginia University, Eberly College of Art and Science with a major in Biochemistry with concentration in Molecular Biology. During her time at WVU, she received Dean's List, University Honors Scholar and graduated summa cum laude. She was also invited to be inducted to the nation’s most prestigious academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. She continued her graduate education and scientific research at West Virginia University, with Master’s degree (MS) in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Dr. Kim then moved to Philadelphia to pursue her doctorate degree (DMD) at University of Pennsylvania (UPENN), for her dental education with Dean’s Scholarship, which is awarded to only the top entering applicants.
Dr. Kim practiced in private practices located in Pennsylvania and Maryland. During her private practice, her passion for working with children deepened and decided to pursue further specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. She was accepted into the Pediatric Dentistry Residency at esteemed Children's National Medical Center (CNMC) at Washington D.C. After completing the rigorous specialty training, she went a step beyond to become board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She maintains an active membership in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association and American Dental Association.

Dr. Kim met her husband, Dr. Daniel Cho, when they were studying together at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. They are both passionate about serving others, and they have gone on dental mission trips to Honduras and Haiti to provide dental services to people with limited access to dental care. They are happily married with three amazing children, Lydia, Joshua and Paul. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, golf, and traveling with her family.
