Comprehensive examination includes head and neck examination, thorough intra-oral examination including assessment for any abnormal growth or structure, nutritional counseling, cavity risk assessment and low-dose digital radiograph (X-rays) as needed. We also monitor growth and development of the oral structures, and review eruption patterns of baby teeth and permanent teeth so that parents know what to expect. We see children from infancy through teenage years at Sprout Pediatric Dentistry, and treat every child as an unique individual whose needs and care may differ from other children. Comprehensive examination helps us to determine the re-care interval and whether your child may benefit from certain preventive or restorative treatment.
