Infant Examination

At Sprout Pediatric Dentistry, we have a separate quiet area for your infant child to feel at ease for his/her first dental visit.  The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends all children to be seen by a Pediatric Dentist by the age of one. This ensures that parents receive proper education on how to care for your child’s teeth to prevent early childhood caries. We examine proper growth and development of oral structures. We also go over oral hygiene practice, nutritional counseling, trauma prevention, oral habits prevention, and guidance on growth and development of oral structures.
